What is politeness? I suppose at times Jesus was polite in telling the woman at the well about her housing situation. Other times Jesus could be overturning tables to honor his true father's house.
So here is where I am working with: Those people who seem to believe there is one path to G-d, yet they want no other roads to G-d to be looked upon. There are others who want no discussion of evolution, yet offer no good solutions about why there were dinosaurs. And finally there are those who don't care about stewardship of the earth and think too much about their journey to heaven.
We sort of need some answers and I hope the whole world begins to earnestly seek some good answers.....

I hope the whole world begins to look for answers too. All this bickering over non-answers isn't getting us anywhere.
Maybe we all should ask God nicely via our prayers, He knows everything, He have answers for everything.
churches can be confusing even within the same church.
I think I have the answer but I won't say it is the answer for everyone
@C_L_O_G - Can I bicker with you...oh wait do constructive criticism? I suppose there are times in which we don't expect answers because if we think about it we get headaches or say gee that was a simple answer...
@RestlessButterfly - I think Malaysia has some beautiful answers even if they really say no answer. Enjoying life can be a beautiful no answer. Oh could you send me your mailing address via private message? I got a "rose" for you....
@Babyboomerjill - Different answers for everyone...still we cram into one Church and expect everyone to be happy, or at different times happy with the answers that we can accept. I know I have matured a bit and the same answers are no longer acceptable at times.
@PPhilip - Okay, later. Thanks.
I think they oppose science because their worldview is built around authority, not evidence, and they resent anything that undermines their preferred authority. This is the only way (aside from the pope himself being a pedophile) that I've been able to try to understand the whole covering it up "for the good of the church" thing. It undermines the notion of the church as an institution with the authority to dictate right and wrong, whereas in a secular organization (like say a daycare company) if a child molester were discovered they would turn their ass into the cops "for the good of the company" (if nothing else), because the scandal would be not doing so.
the world is filled with double standards :) it confuses me sometimes... i confuse myself at times :)
