Some unpublished photos
Here are some extra big mulberries that I picked up 5-24-09. I don't think the owners would mind if I took them. Why? see the following photo:
Sometimes there are more berries to be picked up than can be eaten.
Here is a sample of how some people don't want to carve a pumpkin (taken 11-1-09)
Tomorrow will be Halloween and some places will use the honor system and just leave the stuff outside (11-1-09). The two "Jack O'lanterns are ceramic.

Fun photos!

We had mulberry trees growing up. Seems like our hands and feet were always stained in purple. And we tried to eat the berries before the birds got to them.
HUGS and Happy SunnySunday!
lol you want to pick them off the bush don't you?
hey, those are cute displays
The berries kinda quite look-a-like a green peppers
We used to have a mulberry tree..they are so messy. Glad we don't have one around now..
@dingdongdingbat - This year one of my favorite spots they trimmed it so that the berries didn't make the ground messy. Practicality vs a nice free for all.
I do not think I have ever actually seen a mullberry before. It's one of those words I heard often (in fairy tales and songs, maybe?) but never actually saw. Are they good to eat?
bwahahahaha i love that pumpkin with the drawn face... :D hahaha so hilarious... well I guess its a battle carving a pumpkin... I wouldn't know though since we don't have that here, we have squash though, tougher skin, I guess :D
We tried the honor system once and found not honor among kids. lol
Once we ran out of candy, so I put my hand into a kid's bag and snapped it with my finger. I had no honor that night and I was not caught. lol

@leaflesstree - So good that it makes my mouth water...
.@tribong_upos - My parents carved up squashes to use for stir fry but water melons are/were pretty large and could also be a substitute pumpkin. Bitter melons are usually pretty small compared to pumpkins.
@ANVRSADDAY - I don't really know how many kids come around your area but it seems some areas like mine do not have that many kids trick or treating. It might be because trick or treating is sort of discouraged....
@PPhilip - your right... watermelons could be great for this... :D great idea...
