Push it forward
Sometimes I decide to make detours. I went downtown and stopped in a bike shop and I saw a person changing the grips on his handlebar. I asked for his old grips and got them. When I got on the bus I saw a man with a cane without handle grips. I gave one of the grips to the man who was very grateful.

That's nice.
I haven't done anything nice lately.
I guess...
I let one of the ladies who checks on me play video games. She's really stressed out and tired and can't afford anything.
I don't really need all of them, but until someone wants to do the right thing, I'm trapped. That one girl needs money though.
that's nice of you :)
That was nice what you did, also you are an ecologist at heart. You still have one grip left. I'm curious to know what will be the destiny of that grip..
That was very thoughtful!
that's awesome.
This is what life is about. That was a nice thing to do.
That's probably one happy old man :)
That is an ecological and humanitarian acts all in one day, good for you.
That's awesome.
You have a beautiful heart.
good guy
I always get leashes and collars for dogs at garage sales and when I tell people what I go-give it to the dog pound-sometimes people donate them. I just put them in a bag and hang them on their door at the pound.
I think everybody should do at least one selfless thing a day! I loved hearing about this!
@Colorsofthenight - We have to push ourselves to be nice at times. My hobby of picking up free stuff does not cost money. I decide if it is useful before picking it up.
@ANVRSADDAY - I'm pretty sure Norma will give spare clothes to your housekeeper. Men should do housecleaning and pick out what they don't need for donations. However sometimes gifts get donated and that is a bit problematic.@BenelliMan - You are pretty brief, that is good and a swell policy. Let the verbose people like me expose themselves and say exactly what I do.@locomotiv - Ha, ha that is the thing. I only needed one grip for my scooter. So I had a spare grip for those who can use it.@whyzat - There are a lot of people who are too busy to be thoughtful. I suppose people should give recyclables to those who are poor. I still don't know much about you and we do run in circles that the other does not read. Maybe one day I will write better on a subject you will enjoy.@Relic47 - I thank Aikido for trying hard to notice my surroundings. Aikido is the thinking man's life. You do things to counter other things. We try to make life safer for ourselves and others.
@jillcarmel - I know this generosity thing is something we share. Being benevolent is not emphasized enough. We have a lot of access to stuff and want it to go to those who want it.
@KnightInCROATIANarmor - I still feel bad for him. The bottom of the cane is missing a rubber boot. When I get old I will probably get a wheeled walker. I love wheels.
@RestlessButterfly - Love is what makes the world go round. Implementing it is my specialty.@angys_coco - @Ikwa - I look forward to getting out of the house. Being stuck in the house then leaves the internet. I know Angrys coco and Ikwa like issues but also like action.
@MillySonka - I hope to know more about you. Anyone who likes good actions is a person worth subscribing to.That was very thoughtful!
@PPhilip - I couldn't help laughing how you refer to me as angrys coco! (LOL)
we can never have enough kindness in this world. thank you for reminding me of this.
You're a good man for doing this.
I didn't know you could interchange bicycle grips for cane grips ! Well done !!
