This is when Christianity becomes a hypocrisy. What has Billy Graham got to do with the Mormon church. The church Mormon is called a cult because of the belief and the brain washing they do to everyone and children who come on it.

Here is the old archive of where Mr. Bill G posted that it was a cult. I feel kind of weird about the whole issue. Like i am glad that we do not judge others Faith so harshly but to hate a president so much we will change our own personal beliefs. Oh well that is American christianity or you.
@Ikwa - Hold on, that is not American Christianity....the Protestant right is pushing for the Mormon exception and there are a lot of more liberal Protestants that are not far right.
@PrisonerxOfxLove - Billy Graham has stayed away from politics since the Nixon era. Actually a lot of liberals dream of all Christianity being united, that movement has stalled but maybe this is a sort of movement for Catholics and Protestants to unite?@ANVRSADDAY - Thanks for the Rec. I'm a Mormon and I love my religion. The actual name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I don't know which I enjoyed more, the blog or the comments. My elven ears are aquiver with excited anticipated shenanigans.
At a time when the Federal Government is impinging upon our fundamental freedom of religion, it should be of no surprise that Rev. Graham sided with someone who respects religious liberty. I have not read detailed explanations as to why Graham's association no longer lists LDS church as a cult, but as @traintrack noted, the name of the faith is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." Although some of Mormon teleology differs from "mainline" Christianity, Billy Graham is a faithful and astute judge of character.
